Customs: Russia’s gas export revenue falls 26% to $8.5 bln Jan–Mar
MOSCOW, May 11 (PRIME) -- Russia’s revenue from natural gas exports decreased 25.8% on the year to U.S. $8.515 billion in January–March, as seen by PRIME in data of the Federal Customs Service on Wednesday.
Russia exported 51.1 billion cubic meters of gas in January–March, an 18% increase on the year. Exports to non-CIS countries rose 30.3% to 40.4 billion cubic meters and exports to CIS countries went down 13% to 10.7 billion cubic meters.
